Stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon. Beautiful, quiet place, tucked away, but it was easy to find. Aside from some dust, the room was very clean. Excellent food and service. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you!

The Otter Creek Inn was not what I expected. It was so much better! From the outside, it is a beautiful home set on a large wooded property. There are gardens surrounding the home with statuary and a gazebo. When you step inside, it’s like going back in time. There are furnishings, photos, instruments, collectibles, and so many items that have been gathered by the Hansen’s over the years. Each one holds a story whether it’s from 1865 or 1995. Randy and Shelley have also created numerous custom pieces throughout the B&B that reflect both their talent and their passion for creating something wonderful to be enjoyed by others. Oh, and the breakfast was fabulous!

Lovely small room. We chose the smallest. Very clean and cozy. Hosts were super accommodating. Breakfast choices were many, and the breakfast was wonderful. The house was full of Victorian items. Could have spent lots of time exploring the library. Nice outdoor garden. Very convenient location.

Stuck in a time warp. For example the owner said “it's all about the antiques...so we have a VHS player in every room and a selection of 200 videos to watch.“ Making a feature of that! Very nice host. I chose the Bed and Breakfast for the interaction with owners and guests. After my guided tour I had to choose my breakfast. The paperwork made it clear delivery to the room was the norm and if eating in the dining room one may be alone. Very nice breakfast delivered to my room bang on the time I selected. Jacuzzi in room but firm notes saying not to add any products at all to it. So I poached in some hot water for a while! Convenient location beside a busy highway. Rooms quiet. Fantastic Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk away. Not a peaceful walk but safe. Over the highway.

This was our third stay here for our third anniversary. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We've stayed in three of the five rooms. All have been great! The garden and gazebo in the back were beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! Love the pecan crusted French toast! The owner has always been enjoyable and courteous. Definitely planning to go there for our fourth anniversary!

My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B before. We had no idea what to expect. We drove up to a beautiful home, and were greeted by a wonderful caretaker (Randy). We were shown all around the B&B then to our room. It was more than either of us expected it to be. Very beautiful, quiet, nicely decorated, and just enough space for the two of us. We loved having the opportunity to watch television when we wanted to, as well as a wide variety of VHS movies (loved that they still had these). The breakfast choices and option to have it in our room was beyond fabulous. Excellent breakfasts. Very beautiful, peaceful, and we cannot wait to go again.

My husband and I stayed in the Jasmine room on our wedding night and the following night. We live in Eau Claire, but wanted to do something special. Staying at Otter Creek Inn was the perfect decision. This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and definitely set the bar high for us as the owners seemed to have thought of everything and there wasn't anything that we would change. We especially loved that we were able to choose a delivery time for breakfast and got to choose our entrees, sides, and drinks from a menu with descriptions. The pecan crusted French toast and potato and cheese crustless quiche are both so amazing that we ordered the exact same meals both days of our stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and there are many sitting areas to relax and read a book or talk. An extra quirky highlight is the VHS tape library that you can pick from to watch in your room. The Jasmine room is one of their smaller rooms, but was the perfect size for us. The whirlpool is sunken in and set into a nook with a bay window that faces thick, dense woods so we weren't concerned about privacy when we had the shades open. The Jasmine room is right across the entrance hall from the kitchen, so there were a few times we heard some noises from the kitchen when breakfast was being prepared, but this didn't bother us at all and was far outweighed by the convenience of being the closest room to the from door, which was great for us as we arrived around midnight on our first night. The room also isn't next to any other guest rooms so we didn't hear any possible noises from them during our stay. The owners are extremely nice and even gave us the recipe for the pecan crusted French toast. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay at Otter Creek Inn, and have already made plans to return for our anniversaries, and we're almost 100% certain that we're going to stay in the Jasmine room again as we loved it so much.
