MOST AUBERGISTES fournir une salle, NOUS PROPOSONS UNE EXPÉRIENCE: La Phillips-Yates-Snowden Maison c. 1842 à 15 Church Street Charleston 29401.

Jack and Annelise provide a very inviting bed and breakfast experience with their beautiful historic home in Charleston. This was my first B&B experience, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The rooms were extremely clean and very inviting. A great value for accommodations in the Charleston area. Jack and Annelise provide a very comfortable dining experience with tasty food. They provide a fun social hour to get to know them and the other guests. Adult beverages, sodas etc provided with cheese and crackers for your enjoyment. We were provided with many suggestions for dining and sightseeing. Jack would even help with reservations if needed. I also enjoyed the Julie's (B&B staff) as well as their dog, Franny and cats, Drifter and Clarence. Highly recommend this B&B.

As lovely as Charleston is and as great the restaurants are, it's the people (and animals) you get to know that makes the trip special. The accommodations are fabulous. The ambiance is wonderful. Jack and Annelise are the most gracious hosts. The Julies are two of the sweetest and most helpful people and Frannie, Drifter and Clarence just add to the charm of it all!

Exceptional hosts and location. Southern hospitality at it's finest. We loved enjoying wine on the piazza with our hosts and other guests. Jack's restaurant recommendations were outstanding and he was kind enough to help us with reservations. Lastly we should mention the "Julies", Jon and the animals (Frankie, Drifter and Clarence) made our stay memorable.

We have lived in Charleston for 72 years and we love our wonderful, Southern heritage. But if you have never spent a few days South of Broad (no initials, please), YOU DO NOT KNOW CHARLESTON. That community lives life in a different way than the rest of the area - bridge groups in the afternoon, social hours in the early evening, gorgeous but hidden away gardens, walking to church - it's life as it was 200 years ago and the way we all know it ought to be. And there is no better place to experience the real Charleston than at 15 Church Street with Jack and Annelise - and Fannie the Lab and Drifter the marmalade - and be sure to spend some time with Julie (cooks, cleans, gardens, grooms pets). We chose the Simmons as our hosts for celebrating our 50th anniversary and we could not have been more delighted.

Jack and Annelise were hosts extraordinaire. We were there for four nights and really felt part of the family the minute we got there. As first timers in Charleston the location was ideal. Originally had a rental car but quickly got rid of it and walked. Couldn't have been better. Their staff was helpful and friendly and made you feel at home. Take advantage of their suggestions for dinners, tours, etc. They really know the best! We will forever have fond memories of Charleston because of our stay. Although off our bucket list, we look forward to another visit. And, there is only ONE place we will stay. Don't miss out. Richard Allen

What a delightful stay Jack and Annelise provide for all their guests! They provide great service -- anything you want -- and participate fully in the Social Hour each night. They share the history of the area as well as their own unique stories. On top of their great hospitality their B&B is lovely -- great location, lovely home. Jack and Annelise made our experience special. We have traveled to many places. Jack and Annelise are the best hosts we have ever had at a B&B. -- Kathy

If you are looking for true southern hospitality, then this bed and breakfast is for you! Conveniently located to all the amenities that Charleston has to offer, the accommodations were just perfect! Our party thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Charleston and welcomed the suggestions offered by Jack, Annelise, and Martha. All were so friendly and accommodating and we loved the quaint, quiet and historic atmosphere offered by the Carriage House! This will certainly not be our last visit to Charleston and we will be sure to return to 15 Church Street!

My daughter and I had a weekend getaway here. We were very relaxed here, had a great time visiting with the owners and the other guests, and will always make this place our first pick when traveling to Charleston.

Scott and I stayed over for the Memorial Day weekend, for Spoleto festival. They treated us like honored guests, and we got to chat and just learn about each other like old friends. The food was delicious. They were helpful in navigating us through the city, and the rooms had so much charm, and were clean. The porch was nice, and the view from our rooms to the Barbour reminded me how close we were to the ocean.
