Anniversary Getaway

5 sur juillet 13, 2018

We booked the inn sight unseen and it exceeded our expectations. The Inn is so well appointed and detailed you feel instantly transformed back into a cozier and simpler time. Attention to detail in every aspect did not go unnoticed and if there was anything else you needed our innkeepers were ready to accommodate. The morning breakfast was highlight as the food was amazing. Everything served was as fresh as could be either from the garden on property, the farm fresh eggs across the street to neighbouring farms. Each morning all the guests ate together and we met some fascinating people and heard great stories from fellow guests and our innkeepers. We also gained all the local insight into what to see, where to eat and local history with each recommendation spot on. We will definitely be going back!

Fantastic B&B

5 sur juillet 05, 2018

Nothing to compare with, exceptional room, service and atmosphere. The staff and owners were extremely warm and could not do enough for you - they made you feel like family. The only complaint I have is that I did not make my reservation for longer than two days. Job well done by all. Thanks.

Beautiful historical farmhouse and delicious breakfast

5 sur mai 04, 2018

I stayed here the last weekend of April 2018 with my boyfriend. What a great place! It may be the best b&b I've ever stayed in. The farmhouse is beautiful and they've retained so much of the historical charm of a 1700s farmhouse. I loved all the decorating choices as well. Our room was beautiful with a comfy king size bed, beautiful bathroom with two-person shower and clawfoot tub, and a TV with cable and Netflix. The breakfast was gourmet quality and nice and healthy. The owners were very pleasant to deal with and so friendly. They knew so much about the town and local history. I can't wait to go back again in the future!

An amazing experience!

We just stayed in the Plow and Harrow suite this past weekend (Thur, Fri, Sat.) What are some words to describe the inn? Quaint, quiet, pastoral, magical, relaxing, recharging, homey, intimate and charming. The food? One only word is needed DELICIOUS! Cindy was our host during our stay and it was a quiet week so we only saw one other guest while we were there. Cindy was very helpful with directions, points of interest and recommendations for places to eat etc. Our room was delightful filled with the most interesting antiques and items that have clearly been curated and thoughtful chosen. The room was stocked with some treats, seltzers and any basic toiletry you could need. There was a tv (we didn't use it at all) and free wi-fi we did use as cell phone service is a bit iffy in the general area. Our room had a cast iron gas stove which was wonderful for heat but also for making the room even cozier than it already was. The king size bed was very comfy and the sheets were very soft and of a high quality. There are two coffee bars in the building both stocked to the brim with teas and coffees. They have thought of everything including a little cabinet of items you might need but forgot like a toothbrush or floss. We had a chance to peek in the other rooms as we were the only ones staying one day and all the rooms are charming and off something a little different from the other rooms. I loved that our room was quiet and also on the "dark" side of the house so even in the morning it was easy to relax in bed and not feel rushed. . Cindy makes you feel like you are staying at an old friends house who loves to hosts guests and that nothing is too troublesome to ask.It was a wonderful stay and we hope to be back to enjoy the inn during a different season!

Delightful in Every Way!

5 sur mars 11, 2018

We recently stayed at the Olde Rhinebeck Inn. Cindy, our host, made us feel welcome immediately. I cannot say enough about our experience. Our rooms were delightful--spacious and richly appointed. Every need was addressed--a plate of fruit, baked goods and chocolate awaited us. The beds were so cozy with very high quality linens. The bathrooms were very well appointed. Immediately outside of our room, a beverage station containing water, tea, and french press coffee was always available. Cindy also made sure we had ginger, lemon and honey tea available, along with other warm drinks and cookies. The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious--fresh cherry almond scones, goat cheese & asparagus quiche, lovely oatmeal, warm and fluffy pancakes, poached or fresh fruit, delicious sausages and more. During our stay, there was a large storm (Nor'easter with 20 inches of snow) and we were housebound for a day--we enjoyed our time before a roaring fire in the lovely common rooms. While every amenity had been offered, the thing that made our stay so special was Cindy and her husband. Cindy is a special person--thoughtful, engaging and very caring. We learned a great deal from Cindy about the Inn's history and the nearby town of Rhinebeck. We will certainly stay there again and highly recommend the Inn to others.

A priceless experience and a forever memory

I booked this as a last minute bday suprise for my husband and it was the best last minute decision / money spent !!!!who would of that a getaway 10 minutes away from our home turned Into one of the best romantic getaways we have ever had !This was better then any hotel stay hands down. The place was immaculate and the attention to detail is immeasurable. The inn keeper grew up on the property and not only gave superb service but she gave you a true sense of the history township and authenticity behind each and every detail. I could not have enjoyed myself more and after having an amazing gourmet breakfast and coffee with the owners I didn’t want to leave. Quaint eclectic historic and romantic. I will be there again.

This Bed and Breakfast is so much more than Outstanding!

It’s difficult to put into words how special and exceptional this place is. From the moment you step up to the door you realize this is not your average Bed and Breakfast...it’s not even just a good Bed and Breakfast! You are entering a place of peace... a place to which you want to retreat over and over again... a place where you feel the inn keepers, Jonna and Cindy, truly care about each and every one of their guests and try to make them feel special. There are many places of interest in the area and the inn keepers will help you plan your explorations but you cannot wait to return to the comfort of the Olde Rhinebeck Inn regardless of how wonderful your day was. The lodging is wonderful and the breakfast is like no other... these inn keeper have a gift and they are eager to share it! If you are in the area...I guarantee that you won’t regret staying here!

This is a place not to e missed

5 sur décembre 17, 2017

This Inn is the best I have ever stayed at. The breakfasts are wonderful, with lots of tasty dishes and the inn keepers are surpassed by none others. Everything is tasteful, cozy, clean, interesting, and above all you are made to feel as if you are among people you have known all your life. There is nothing about this inn that I would change except I wish it were nearer to where I live so I could go more often.

A wonderful step back in time......

5 sur septembre 17, 2017

This is one of the lovliest B & B's I've ever stayed in. The Inn is quaint and charming. The breakfasts were outstanding. I love history and especially the history of the Hyde Park/Rhinebeck area. The Innkeepers, Jonna and Cindy, are not only gracious hostesses and fabulous chefs but through their stories at the breakfast table, brought the history of the area "alive" for all. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for us to celebrate our anniversary.

Fantastic and Enjoyable Time

5 sur septembre 03, 2017

I'm one who rarely, if ever, write a review about anything. The Olde Rhinebeck Inn is a gem to behold. My wife and I had they extreme pleasure of spending a few days at the Inn. Suites were wonderful...roomy, comfortable and decorated in the rustic motif one would expect with the location. This was the first time we stayed at a bed and breakfast, however, with our kids living up there, this will not be our last visit. If I could give this Inn a 10 star rating I would.....Don't miss this great opportunity if you're looking for a beautiful place to stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Arlene and Paul
