Quick Stop

4,8 sur août 12, 2014

My 17yr old son & I stopped in to check it out and grab a Latte and hot chocolate. We also had a sausage egg mic-muffin that was excellent. We really wish we would of stayed over night but this was our first time to Mansfield and was not in our original vacation/road trip plans..So we had stayed at a chain Hotel in a bigger city not knowing this existed. The B&B looks super clean and inviting the cafe area is Beautifully decorated. The Hot Chocolate was excellent! My son & I both want to come back to stay overnight and enjoy the atmosphere. Connie was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Tammy and Nathan

Ok place. Very moldy smelling, though.

The lobby is nice. The people are great. The rooms are pretty simple and basic. Lots of truck and train noise all night long. Strong mold smell in the building when we were there, especially in the lobby, although you could smell it upstairs in the rooms, too. Breakfast was not your normal b&b breakfast. It was just a cold self-serve deal although they would make you a waffle. Did not care for having to go outside the building and up the fire escape to get to the rooms. Only game in town, though, especially in the way of b&b's.

Hi, We have read your comments on Weaver Inn Bed & Breakfast. We are sorry that you did not feel like we were a great experience. We do everything we can to get the musty smell out of our wonderful old building, but it is what it is. The stairs on the outside of the building is the original entrance and the only way up there. As you see, I love this old building and was pleased we could save it and use it for a store front b&b. Thank you so much for your comments. We will give them great thought into how we can be better. Thank you Connie R

Walking in Laura's footsteps

5 sur juillet 24, 2013

For my daughter's 7th birthday, we headed West to visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum at Rocky Ridge farm and had the pleasure of spending one night at the Weaver Inn. To say that we enjoyed our stay is an understatement. We stayed in the Rose Room, which was impeccably and appropriately decorated. Beds were soft and the room was more than comfortable for our family of 5, with one being an infant. The coffee and snack bar in the evening gave us an opportunity to visit with other guests and ask questions about the Wilder family. Breakfast was fantastic. The only thing I would tell visitors to Mansfield is that there is one place to eat in town, a wonderful little Mexican dive two doors down. This will certainly be a repeat trip for our family! Thanks Weaver Inn!

Perfect Bed and Breakfast

If you are visiting Laura Ingalls Wilder country, be sure to stay here overnight. The best part is that the main level coffee shop converts to exclusive use for guests after hours. Sit by the fireplace in winter and enjoy complimentary coffee/tea and homemade cookies, or go out on the deck area in warmer weather. Rooms are upstairs (except 1) and are private, and updated, and clean. I enjoyed meeting Connie and Mike!

Wonderful Service, Old-time America

This place takes you back in time! The owners are wonderful and make you feel like you are visiting kinfolk (the kind you like!). The downstairs restaurant is warm and inviting. Truly, a one of a kind place.

After my sister lost her husband on May 10th, 2010, I decided to take her away to somewhere she has always wanted to visit, Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and Homestead. She had never stayed at a bed and breakfast so when you were recommended by a friend to stay there, we are very happy that we took her suggestion. The friendly staff was a breath of fresh air and very eager to please. It just so happened that the citys annual Independence Day celebration was going on. What a pleasant surprise! This made our stay even more interesting. Our room was very very clean and comfortable. I did not expect to sleep so well in a strange bed in a strange room but it was beyond my expectations! Thank you all for such a wonderful experience and memories for my sister and I to share.

Great Stay in the Ozarks

4,8 sur septembre 11, 2009

My wife, daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Weaver Inn for the Labor Day weekend in 2009. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the waffles. This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast and we were pleased to have all the amenities, especially cable TV. Mike and Connie Roberts are the perfect hosts. They go out of their way to see that you enjoy your stay and freely share their knowledge of the area. Weaver Inn is the ideal place to stay if you are exploring the sites of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s life in the Ozarks. The inn is right on Mansfield’s public square where there is a bust of Laura. Across the square is the historical museum with an abundance of artifacts from the area. The cemetery where the Wilders are buried is nearby and Laura’s home at the Rocky Ridge Farm is about a mile away. The house where she resided in town is right down the street. And, as a matter of fact, the Weaver Inn is on the site where Laura used to meet with fellow members of the Eastern Star. We had a wonderful stay in Mansfield thanks in large part to the Weaver Inn and Mike and Connie Roberts and their staff.
