What a hidden treasure! Nestled in the quaint little town of Bonnotss Mill, And decorated with wonderful antiques. Scott and Sandra we're perfect hosts, and the hearty, country breakfast was amazing... BEST PART? NO TV!!! Perfect for reconnecting with your partner...... 5 stars in my book!!

I've stayed here three times now. The owners are friendly and attentive when you want them to be, and leave you your space when you want that. The made-to-order breakfasts are wonderful. The rooms are charming, clean, comfortable, and cozy. Be aware that this is a bit off the beaten path - you need your own car (or better yet motorcycle on these scenic roads).

We took an extended weekend and stayed at Dauphine on Monday before Veteran's Day in early November. We had a wonderful day of hiking and arrived at Dauphine ready to relax. Scott and Sandra welcomed us, offered cold drinks (the temp that day was lower 80's) and made sure we were comfortable. Scott showed us around (including introduction to the chickens who laid the eggs for our breakfast), gave us a tip about the hike up to the top of the bluff overlooking the Missouri River and recommended a great restaurant for dinner, The breakfast was tasty, the conversation stimulating, the finches at the feeders outside the dining room window were entertaining and the bedroom delightful. But probably our favorite time was sitting on the porch swing into the evening, watching the river go by. BTW, you can only see the river when the leaves are off the trees. Thanks! We'll be back! Linda

Vacation scheduling allowed me to stay at the Dauphine for an extended weekend, and I couldn't have made more felt at home. Scott and Sandra were first-rate hosts, making me feel welcome and appreciated. The Inn provided me with a perfect launching point for traveling around the area, and the surrounding community was charming. I certainly will make my way back to the Dauphine.

The Dauphine Hotel is the best place to stay if you live in Missouri & want a weekend getaway. I think it is Jefferson City's best kept secret as Bonnots Mill is very close & the town is like a time capsule. It was a beautiful little town & the Hotel & hosts were the best! My family & I are planning another stay there this fall!

Sandy & Scott were wonderful hosts. The room was lovely, and breakfast was delicious, with fruit fresh from their garden and eggs and bacon also very fresh. We felt like part of the family by the end of our stay. Incidentally we got engaged while there!
