Staying at the Green Turtle could not have been more enjoyable! The Charlestown marina is located in a absolutely, beautiful area and a short, refreshing walk to Bunker Hill, the USS Constitution and Warren's Tavern, as well as other sites. Boston's public transportation system is quite extensive so no need to rent a car if you stay here which is a huge savings. We took a water taxi directly from the airport to the Green Turtle and upon arrival received a very, warm welcome from Jon and Karen (innkeepers). Jon and Karen could not have been more hospitable...wonderful people! Karen is a great cook and breakfasts were so yummy. Jon's direction in navigating Boston was invaluable and his dining suggestions spot-on. Returning to the privacy and peacefulness of the marina was quite relaxing and enjoyable after a long day out in the city. The B&B is so quaint and charming...I would live to keep it a secret but that's just not fair. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Jon and Karen for a wonderful weekend in Boston!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Green Turtle Floating Bed and Breakfast. We loved EVERYTHING about it. The location! Room! Serenity! Breakfast! Bed! And the view! Our son's ship was coming in to port, and we were fortunate to see the ship, as we looked out the window! We would certainly love to stay here again.

A group of 6 of us rented the Green Turtle II for the weekend and we were all blown away! Jon and Karen were wonderful hosts from beginning to end! The boat was walking distance to dinner on Friday and all the things we wanted to do in Boston on Saturday, which was so convenient. Karen made us Broccoli Quiche with Home Fries and Kielbasa for breakfast Saturday and Peach Baked French Toast with Breakfast Sausage on Sunday and both were delivered to our door at the time we requested and they were absolutely delicious! What a great way to start our day! The boat was beautiful, clean, and fit 6 adults comfortably. Thank you to Jon and Karen for a wonderful weekend!

From the moment John met us at the end of 13th St we knew we were onto a good thing. He was so friendly and welcoming, brilliant with the kids and has an overflowing charm. Karen is also delightful and gave the children a lovely bracelet each to take home! The boat was spacious and beautifully maintained, and any concerns we had about beds and bathrooms were short lived asthe plumbing worked fine and the beds were big and comfy. Waking up to the most beautiful sunrise in Boston Harbour was very special indeed, and will be a lasting memory for all of us, as will sitting on the poopdeck in the morning sunshine to eat our delicious breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble. It was also super easy to get around Boston with the ferry so close (so much more enjoyable than sitting in the terrible Boston traffic). We had ten days in the US in Boston and New York, and packed in so many wonderful experiences and tourist sights, but each of the children would put the Green turtle B&B in their top 3 US experiences. Up there with whale watching, the One World Observatory and MOMA. Well done John and Karen for creating something truly unique. We will be back. Love from the Molony family!

I have wanted to stay at the Green Turtle for many years, it was worth the wait! The owners, Jon and Karen are truly special people and take pride in their properties. Everything is well maintained, luxurious linens, amenities provided and the breakfast is more than that of a five star resort! It is conveniently located, easy to access and in a beautiful, quiet, safe part of Charlestown. Loved staying and hated to leave, that should say it All! I will try very hoard to return.
