My family came to New Orleans for the Easter holiday. The Creole Inn is just a few blocks from my house and a short walk to the French Quarter, so it was perfect. The suites were just the size we needed and the price can't be beat! My family will definitely be returning! (I tried to give five stars, but it only permitted me to give four. It made me check the dining box but there was no dining option at this Inn.)

My wife and our 18 yr old granddaughters really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Creole Inn. The accomodations were quaint, adequate and unique. No frills, but not lacking in any way. Very convenient to east end of French quarter and Frenchman St. The hostess (Marlene, I think) was sweet as pie. She met us and once we had the front door code and our room code, there was no need to do anything but come and go as we pleased. No breakfast but free coffee. Perfect! We eat the good NOLA food anyway. Free pkg on street and a spot was always available. Will definitely give it my first look when returning to NOLA.

A pleasant, no frills inn located on a safe and quiet spot in Marigny. Nothing fancy but a good value spot to spend a few nights at. Please note that there are NO onsite dining options available here. I rated it the way I did because this site would not allow me to post the review otherwise. Besides, it's New Orleans - tons of good places to eat nearby!

As the information states, don't expect anything special except pricing! Marlene, the Hostess is very pleasant and friendly. We had the lower level bedroom which is a two bedroom affair. Flat screen TV in both rooms. Second bedroom tv took about two hours to upload or fix itself. The temperature in the rooms is based on the thermostat out in the lower living room. So the living room was a nice temperature and our room was in the mid to high 80's. Windows are screwed shut so you can't open them. We were told this is because people open them so they can smoke in the room. There is a door out the back in the second bedroom. There is a table and chairs out back which was nice. The backyard is nothing much but is spacious. The bathroom sink was slow draining. Told Marlene and she said she would take care of it. Also, the bathroom fan is on it's death march with loud noise. Decent water pressure and the shower felt good. Marlene makes morning coffee, which is pretty good. No fresh cream or milk, just powered creamer and sugar. Morning paper to be kept in the living/shared area. 12-15 minute easy walk to the all the activities of Bourbon Street and surrounds. All in all we would stay again. Would be nice to see some of the items above improved. Wouldn't take much. Really didn't like the windows being screwed shut. We like some fresh air at night and didn't want to leave the back door open. No screen door. Also, Gayle, who sends you a welcome text is available for questions or issues. Responsive. It asks for a score of on property dining, which there was non so really nothing to rate.

We loved our recent stay at the Creole Inn! Kim & Charlie are the onsite supers and they were always available to meet any needs. Kim made coffee every morning and sat with us each day to provide new and different places to go in NOLA during our stay. We stayed in the Memories room and it was a perfect fit! The only problem we had during our stay was the backdoor steps to the patio were broken on the first step. It made it difficult to step down if you have anything in your hands. Other than that little step, we loved our stay and will return soon!! Thank you Kim & Charlie for all your generosity!

Location was brilliant, walking distance to the French quarter and really good transport links. The rooms are comfortable and come with everything you need. The area feels really safe and there's loads of nice cafes nearby for breakfast. There is no onsite dining so this was not applicable but youre a ten minute walk from hundreds of bars and restaurants, they do provide tea and coffee and a microwave however. I was checked in by Kim who was really nice and helpful. Overall the Creole Inn is brilliant value and I would recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans

We weren't sure when we pulled up to Creole Inn. But once Kim opened the door, we were charmed. Our room was serviceable and perfectly clean and cool, well stocked and roomy enough. Coffee, mini-refrigerator, modest courtyard, a spacious reception area for such a small "inn." We will come again!

Great location. Plenty of on street parking. Clean rooms. Great hosts. Incredible value. We've stayed there twice, and are looking forward to our third visit to the Creole Inn!

My daughters and I recently stayed at the Creole Inn and cannot be happier that we ended up booking the Old Europe Suite. It was perfect for the three of us - rooms were clean, beds were super comfortable, bathroom was roomy and clean, the backyard patio area was lovely and Kim and Charlie could not have been more gracious. We thought we would stay in the French Quarter, but really ended up loving the Marigny. Our hosts were able to answer any question we had about dining or sightseeing (not to mention the need to stay hydrated while touring!). We will be back my beautiful NOLA and will stay here again. Thanks Kim and Charlie for guiding us when asked and for being there when needed.

My husband and I and some friends used the Creole for St Patty's weekend. We got the sweetheart room which was 2 rooms adjoined by a bathroom. Kim and Charlie were very nice. This is not a 5 star hotel. We just basically wanted rooms to sleep in and wanted to use our money for our food and entertainment. That is what they provide. Clean rooms and bathroom. There were a few restaurants and bars in walking distance. Or you can walk about 5 blocks to Bourbon. Wasn't bad at all. Just don't expect the normal bed and breakfast with food and lots of extras. There was a fridge in the room. We brought drinks. They have a nice outside area you can sit and relax in the back. We will definitely stay again. Thanks for the great service!
