Ingrédients

  • 2 lb blackberries (or wild dewberries)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 juice from lemon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 sticks cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/4 inch pieces

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine blackberries (dewberries), cream, sugar, flour, cinnamon, lemon juice & salt. Pour into greased 9x13 pan or large casserole dish.
  2. To make topping combine flour & brown sugar. Cut in butter, using your hands. Mix until well combined.
  3. Crumble topping over berry mixture, completely covering it.
  4. Bake for approx. 45 or until topping turns golden brown.
  5. Really hits the spot when served with a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream.
