About this recipe:

Shoofly Pie has been made by the Amish and Mennonites in Lancaster County for many generations. Today at the Bird-in-Hand Bakery (and Village Inn of Bird-in-Hand), we bake our Shoofly Pies using a wet-bottom Shoofly Pie recipe that has been handed down from our Grandma Smucker's kitchen (which is very similar to this one).
