Le coin George Inn Bed & Breakfast se compose de trois bâtiments historiques restaurés : un hôtel de 1884 et salon, une cuisine d’été des années 1890 et une boutique residence/taverne et selle Pierre de 1857. L’auberge est située dans un village allemand historique principalement colonisée par des immigrants allemands du sud-ouest de l’Allemagne dans les années 1850. We enjoyed our two night stay with Marcia and David. The Inn is beautiful, in a peaceful setting. Their is one local tavern and a coffee shop a crossed the street. A little German town with lots of character.

My husband and I returned to the Corner George Inn after a 10-year hiatus and loved it every bit as much as we did the first time. David is a gracious, generous, and thoughtful host who loves his town and the people in it and Maeystown is a refreshingly calm nook in a sometimes overstimulating-ly busy world. The Inn was clean, neat, and quiet and breakfast was delicious. The next time we have need of a place to stay in the St Louis area, we'll definitely go back to the Corner George Inn!

The Corner George Inn is exceptional in the hospitality and knowledge of the host innkeeper. He know everything about, and everyone in, this charming historic town founded by German immigrants. He and his wife maintain a sweet antique shop right in the inn, and they invite you to browse through it any time during your stay. The rooms are decorated nicely in a Victorian manner but are not fussy. Breakfast around the big dining table was delicious and convivial. I highly recommend this B & B and intend to return annually.

Stayed 10yrs ago for honeymoon and was able to get kitchen suite again for 10th anniversary. Everything was same, same friendly staff. Very clean room!!!!! If you are looking for quite getaway with a semi-rustic appeal, this is the place to go!!!!!!

This was our second stay at the Inn and we'll keep coming back as long as we can. We thought we might stay in the main house this time, but the summer kitchen is like our little house and we love it! We love the town, the inn keepers and everything about the area. Truly a relaxing getaway!

The owners were great, and everyone in the town was friendly. Such a cute little historic town to explore. We truly enjoyed the location. The rooms were cute and comfortable. The Tavern across the street was delicious for dinner, and breakfast by David and Marcia was perfect. We are already looking forward to coming back. We stayed within Maeystown, but there is so much surrounding it to explore as well. Marcia and David are very knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions.

My husband and I are both busy teachers, and we really needed a weekend away, out of town and with the toddler staying with grandparents. We love old world European charm, and Maeystown hit the spot with being only a couple hours from home. The inn was lovely, even beautiful. Like you would see in Victorian Era movies. Everything was clean and functional. The breakfast was delicious. We even had to leave very early our last morning and got left some fruit, muffins, and coffee for the road. The innkeepers were friendly and accommodating (no pun intended). The town is charming. The tavern across the street had great food at quite reasonable prices. Attractions are nearby for a nice day out, which we visited several by following maps provided and explained at the inn. We are both generally frugal with travel, and the evening we arrived we were already talking about coming back in the summer. Highly recommended!

A delightful oasis. However, as wonderful as the property was, it was the inn keepers that made it truly special. Their hospitality, the attention to detail that provided a a unique ambiance as well as a sense of time travel, and a delicious breakfast with stimulating conversation ensured that this was a memorable visit.

We recently stayed at the Corner George and was delighted at the customer service. We enjoyed the hospitality and the breakfast was wonderful. This was my first BnB experience. The room was charming and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
