This is a great B&B. Sherry and staff did an amazing job. They are some of the nicest people I've met and did a great job making sure we were well taken care of. Everywhere you look there is some small detail in the house that has some story behind it. Most B&B's don't allow children - not only did they take us in but they took special care of the kids. When leaving my son said, "I wish we could have stayed for 3 more days". (As did we). We can't wait to come back.

I was in Algonquin area for business during 10 days, so I woke up early every morning week, and Sherry was attentive to provide a delicious and various break fast every morning even if it was early. I had a special relationship with Sherry as she stay with me during my breakfast to keep me company. I really appreciated this time. After works coming back in the house that smell good cookies was amazing. I really recommand Sherry's house. It's a cosy and friendly place to stay. 10 days far from my familly was finally not difficult, I feel like I was at home.

Stayed last Saturday night and had a very nice experience at the B&B and surrounding area. Sherry has a wonderful place that is comfortable and inviting. A real treasure in the Fox Valley. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get away for a night or a week.

My wife & I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with a 3 day stay at Victorian Rose Garden. The staff was super friendly and did everything possible to make us feel at home. The breakfast was something different every day and simply wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at the Victorian Rose Garden. We were welcomed warmly and made to feel at home. The grounds are beautiful and my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the porch conversing, reading, and admiring our surroundings. Sherry and her helpers were very accommodating and pleasant. After a good night's rest, the breakfast waiting for us was outstanding and attentive to my wife's food allergies. All and all a great stay. We will be back!!

Made a second visit to the Victorian Rose Garden and it did not disappoint. Sherry is a great host, making you feel comfortable staying in this beautiful home. The facilities were a perfect match for our stay in the area. The town is a neat place to be. The breakfast was Great! Sherry made sure she accommodated my wife's diabetic needs. Breakfast is always better with good company to share it with.

The Victorian Rose Garden far exceeded our expectations - so glad we found this little gem. My husband and I stayed in the Sir James room and our son was in the Lady Alicia (we should have traded rooms as the Lady Alicia is a tad bit larger than Sir James. However, both rooms were well-appointed and very comfortable. The owner/hostess, Sherry, could not have been nicer and, along hostess helpers, Carolyn and Georgia, we were spoiled to death. Breakfast each morning was delicious beyond words (I don't usually eat breakfast but here I couldn't help but clean my plate each day...yumm!). We all agreed we will be returning whenever we're in the area to visit our grandchildren.

My sister and I were delighted with the Victorian Rose Garden. Charming, excellent food and conveniently located. We couldn't have had better hosts than Sherry and Carolyn.
This Gentleman’s room has beautiful original woodwork and is decorated in rich tones of blue and burgundy. Sir James Room sports a queen bed, antique dresser, upholstered rocking chair, and a unique hall-tree. The private bath has a pedestal sink and cultured marble shower.
This refreshing room is light and airy and a breathe of fresh air, with its’ east windows, wicker furniture and touch of ivy. Furnished with a queen bed and daybed, Miss Alicia’s Room can accommodate 3 guests. The room is also equipped with a medium sized vanity, perfect for freshening up for wherever the day may take you. The private bath has a pedestal sink and cultured marble shower, and the garden theme continues with hand-painted ivy.
A stately, spacious room, the Presidential Chamber is appointed with a gas log fireplace, a beautiful armoire and dressing table, and its own refrigerator with complementary water and soda. The king-size bed can be separated into twin beds*. The private bathroom has an old-fashioned claw-foot tub and a separate cultured marble shower, and is separated from toilet/bidet area and double sinks by pocket doors for privacy. *To accommodate 3 people, a rollaway can be brought in in addition to the King bed.
