My wife and I recently stayed at Foley House in August 2017, and we had a wonderful visit. From he moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome and at home. The staff are warm and friendly and there is just not enough space to write how wonderful hey made our stay. Foley house is beautiful, serene, and relaxing. Classical music is using playing in the downstairs rooms creating a completely relaxing atmosphere. Afternoon Ice teas and deserts are served between 3-5pm all of which are wonderfully delicious. Breakfast at Foley is for lack of any better words fantastic. We elected the Haunted Savannah Tour, and we were not disappointed. If you are even an amateur paranomalist you will not be disappointed with Foley—we got crystal clear EVP's in our room. If you are not into the paranormal, don't let this frighten you. We experienced nothing harmful at Foley, rather quite the opposite! In closing Foley made our Savannah trip memorable and perfect. We will will go back in future without hesitation, in fact, I would prefer to stay at Foley than any other place in Savannah! -Will Lloyd-

My sweet husband took me to Savannah for my 50th birthday. He booked the Foley House a couple weeks in advance due to recommendations from friends. My birthday could not have been spent anywhere more beautiful. Our room, the inn itself, the staff, the delicious hand-made breakfast and afternoon snacks where just incredible. And the fact that the inn is located on a beautiful square was just icing on the cake. This was Southern hospitality at is finest.

This was our third trip to Savannah. We always stay at the Foley House. The staff is so helpful and courteous. The location is prime for walking around the historic district. We always recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Savannah. We will definitely be back!!

The house is very nice, and is in a great location, with several excellent restaurants just past the square it sits beside. They have refreshments throughout the day, first with tea and desserts and later with wine and hors douerves. The breakfast was consistently excellent. Where this place surpasses any possible competition is in the staff though. They take care of you and treat you like family. We were here following the sudden loss of my father in law, and I'm thankful that we picked here. They all took good care of us and accommodated our every need. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Our stay at Foley House Inn was delightful. We stayed for two days because of power outages after Hurricane Matthew. The staff is amazing, the room beautiful, and the breakfast wonderful. Afternoon tea and wine and canapés in the evening were a special treat. Look forward to returning someday.

We stayed at the Foley House over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed every minute. What a lovely hotel and the location can't be beat, it is in the center of the Historic District and you can walk everywhere. The staff is terrific very warm and welcoming. They can't do enough for you. We mentioned to Christine that we were going to do a trolley tour and she was on the phone and arranged for them to pick us up around the corner and at the end of the day they dropped us at the front door and we saved $10 each by going with that company. The breakfasts were wonderful and kept us going most of the day. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the afternoon tea, but we did very much enjoy the wine and appetizers. The room was clean and very comfortable. The inn is a beautiful historic inn and is kept very nicely. In our opinion it is THE place to stay in the Historic District. It is truly as pretty as the picture. We were very glad we chose the Foley House.

We spent our honeymoon at The Foley House Inn. The service and breakfast were both outstanding. They even got us parking right in front of the inn. We would definitely stay here again. Debbie and William

Foley House is a beautiful historic home with charm, rooms are spacious and clean . The staff is helpful with any tours and events you might like to attend, they will help you with restaurant reservations to cab fare. The house is located in a central location; easy walking distance to most all attractions and the river front. One negative is parking in that there is none . I will definitely stay again at the Foley House.'

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Foley House Inn. Our room was on the lower level and opened onto a private garden. The room is (obviously) old--but in very nice condition--and quiet! The staff could not have been more accommodating--at the front desk, in the dining room, throughout our stay. Just like home! 2 highlights are the superb location and the parking permits, available through the inn.

I would have given the room a rating of outstanding, but my computer was not allowing the input!! Absolutely gorgeous accommodations with fireplace and exposed brick in the room I stayed. The hors d'oeuvres and breakfast were delicious, and staff was friendly. If I plan another trip to Savannah, I will definitely check availability here first!

We snuck away after a snow storm to get married and the Foley House was a huge part of our magical, wonderful, romantic experience. An absolutely fabulous place with a great location, staff and ambience for anyone looking to spend some quality time with a loved one. Especially if you are looking to elope, re-commit or just get away. Wonderful place!

The Inn is delightful, staff amazing made our trolley tour reservation and explained the area well and different things to do. Was within walking distance to everything. Room was awesome and bed comfy. Really enjoyed afternoon Tea/sweets and the wine/Hor D'oeurves was nice and the breakfast was so good. Would definetely recommend to those visiting the area. The only thing I would have liked to meet the owners and we never did. What a great find..

I was visiting Savannah this week on business and decided to divert from my usual chain hotel to try out the Foley House Inn. Amazing! I don't know how I'll stand to go back to the generic, bland and uninspiring world of hotels off the highway. My room, 102--I can't recall the name--was lovely, clean and cozy. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and the location is just perfect. I was able to walk to a variety of great places to eat and get coffee. Frankly, I didn't need to do too much dining away from the inn. They're very generous with the afternoon treats (try the shortbread), wine and hors d'oeuvres in the evening.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Essex room. The staff was very friendly and attentive. One fireplace in our room did not work when we checked in due to the pilot light being out. After a couple of reminders, they got if fixed the next day. The room was adjacent to the office and close to the ice machine and employee area so it was not quiet. We could hear doors (cabinets?) slamming (a lot) and ice being scooped starting early in the morning. Would have preferred more peace and quiet in the mornings. Nice place with a good breakfast and cool period furnishings.

My husband and I stayed at the Foley Inn while visiting Savannah recently. We have stayed at bed and breakfast inns in other cities, but never in Savannah. The staff at Foley House provided better service than any place we have ever stayed! If we needed reservations, the concierge on duty was ready and willing to make reservations for us. Tyler, the concierge on duty the nights we stayed, was very helpful when we asked him about different restaurants. He marked up a map for us, told us which ones to avoid, and offered to make reservations if we needed them. I was worried about dressing too casually, but Tyler reassured me that Savannah was very laid back when it came to dress codes. He couldn't have been more helpful! When we arrived, Ed wouldn't think of letting us carry our own luggage. Even though it was raining, he came to the car and carried out bags in for us. The food was delicious! You will not find better iced tea anywhere! These Georgians know their tea! Great food, great room, and great staff! Keep it up, Foley House!

My husband and I wanted to get married in Savannah in 7/7/07, and we chose the Foley House!!! They were amazing, they gave us all the contact information we needed to have a very memorable wedding ceremony! They went above and beyond to accomodate us!! The room was spectacular, the food was amazing! The service was second to none!! and our housekeeper, she was great!! We asked her to attend and witness our union and she also helped me get ready!! We will keep coming back for our anniversary, we even plan to move to Savannah because of this experience!! Thanks Foley House for Everything!!!

My wife and I have been guests a couple of times at the Foley House in Savannah, and the staff , rooms, and overall enjoyment of our stay gets better every time. Alison and Grant are gracious hosts, and I cannot express enough the feeling of home that you experience while in their stay. I would recommend anyone that enjoys a comfortable room, gracious service, and friendly atmosphere spend their time while in Savannah at the Foley House. LOVED this place!!! Not only did it look exactly like it does on its website with BIG well-appointed rooms, the place oozed with Southern charm and hospitality. From the minute we got there, we were greeted with a smile and it only got better from there. Such a courteous and helpful staff, wonderfully yummy breakfasts that we looked forward to every morning, afternoon treats and "sweet tea" (another Southern thing that we loved!), and the best appetizers with some wine in the parlor every evening before dinner--we did not want to leave! EASY to walk everywhere...overlooks a beautiful and quiet square...lovely and quiet courtyard where we enjoyed both breakfasts and late night wine. Can't say enough about this place--everything was top notch and we'd recommend it to everyone! We will be back next time we're in Savannah!

Reserved a room with a private patio garden for myself and my 73 year old mother who has a bad hip and walks with a cane. After climbing the entrance stairway to the lobby, we were warmly greeted, checked in and then the staff expected my elderly mother to walk up two long stairways to our room. I explained I had reserved the room with the patio garden because I expected it to be on the ground floor. The staff said the room was no longer available and they had "upgraded" us to a room on the 4th floor. I explained to them my mother could not climb all those stairs. I should have gone with my 1st instinct to leave and find another B&B. They explained the AC in the room we had reserved didn't work but they had another room on the ground floor but it would have to be cleaned. We waited a very short amount of time and were taken to the new room. It was lovely, but when we returned to the room after dinner and turned down the bed it was clearly evident the pillow cases had been changed but the sheets had not and I had to ask for clean sheets and make the bed. Very disappointing and I would never recommend this B&B.

Very nice B&B. As a bonus, we were told it is also haunted. My wife and I enjoyed ourself. Central to all old town Savanah as well as the river front. Parking on the street was a negative.

Our check in went smoothy and our room was gorgeous. We enjoyed cocktails with other guests and then went to dinner. Upon our return we were delighted to find chocolates and rose petals on our turned down bed. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. Breakfast in the morning was equally as good. Wonderful wonderful place.

My wife and I stayed two nights in the Beekman Place room at Foley House. The room was clean and met our expectations for the price. The service was good and Jason, the host, was extremely gracious and helpful in answering our questions and making recommendations. The food was outstanding. The location, right in the middle of the historic district, made it a comfortable walk to just about everywhere. Thumbs up for the Foley House Inn.

I have never had such comforting southern hospitality. The food was to die for. The company...outstanding. You have a compassionate, intelligent and comforting staff. We loved our stay. The bed, so cozy. The surroundings, so lovely. And the food was out of this world. Lindsay and I had a marvelous time and wish you all the best. Savannah is truly a marvelous place, unique in every way.

We stayed at the Foley House 3 nights in March, jsut before St. Patrick and enjoyed every bit of our visit. Great location ovelooking a beautiful square and within an easy walk to everywhere. We parked our car and toured Savannah on foot the entire visit. The inn was beautiful and well kept, we had our accommodation upgraded to a Luxury suite and the room was large, comfortable and with a view of a historic church. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful, breakfast was lavish and satisfying with plenty of grits every morning. We left with fond memories of the Foley House and will return for sure!

Very pleasant inn. Staff very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was very good, they offer choice of dining times. We enjoyed the afternoon and evening treats also. The only drawback is lots of stairs (entrance & to most rooms)for anyone who has trouble negotiating stairs.

Foley House is ideally situated in the heart of Savannah's Historic District on one of the city's picturesque squares. The inn's rooms are lovely, and the walled courtyard is charming. Delicious refreshments are served each afternoon, and appetizers/wine are offered in the early evening. An excellent breakfast is served in the mornings in one of the parlors at individual tables. The new owners of The Foley House are currently in the process of making improvements to the inn in an effort to make it even better. My stay at The Foley House was an enjoyable one.

Great location, wonderful staff, gracious innkeeper(s) and good breakfast. My only complaint is that the mattress was a bit old and needs replacement. Fabulous stay.... great place
