Our home was built around 1400, its style, pure Renaissance (XV-XVIe) local "tufa" stone made ( as all the big and famous Chateaux of the Loire Valley ). There is also a holidays rental by week, on the property, called "the knight's Cottage ", direct booking are possible from our website, or contact us, for more... The house crossed 500 years of France and world History ; we passionely manage by hands all its restauration, since allmost 10 years, to offer 4 romantic rooms with a modern comfort, in an Exceptionnal location, for best value as posible: - on the 12 century city walls, among the valley and the old town, - for its own rosegarden "french style" boxwoods and yews - at the foot of town Chateau Royal(14th c.), its Donjon and Cathedral ( 10th c.), where Joan of Arch came to meet king Charles 7th, and many other historic and mystery stories...Templars knights, treasures, legends are part of this very unique place since Romans stayed there exactly in 450. Parking is easy and safe in this calm, (no issue street), Medieval center, with many restaurants walking distance ; fabulous sights everywhere around make it a very special place.. Just ckeck all review about(us) on Tripadvisor (ranked #1 on 13 B&B in town)...to contact us and reserve.(earlier as posible: we're often fully booked )(nb: we're again selected in prestigious Red Michelin Guide 2015, since 2011 )

My husband and I stayed two nights at this B&B and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Loches is a lovely historical town off the beaten track in the Loire Valley and this property, literally at the foot of the town's castle, could not be better. We stayed in the quaint Belle Epoque room with a view of the B&B's lovely gardens and the town below. Phillipe greeted us warmly and gave us a tour with an interesting history lesson on the property and the town. Christine prepared exceptional breakfasts every morning. In short - gorgeous property in a lovely town with exceptionally gracious hosts. Highly recommended!

So, you stayed in our "princess" room at the top of the 2 towers... thank you for writing this nice review ; we always appreciate when guests feel well in our home, and say it. It will be a pleasure to see you again to continue your quest of treasures, Chateaux, wineries, very close around us...Philippe

We stayed at this delightful B&B for 4 nights - the facilities, location and the hosts (Philippe and Christine) were wonderful. They were extremely hospitable, and friendly, with a genuine willingness to do whatever they could to make the stay at their B&B comfortable and memorable. Great value for money and a good decision on our behalf to stay with Philippe and Christine. Loche is a wonderful town, and we enjoyed the walks and exploration of the many attractions that were available - we also had one of the best meals we have ever had in France at a local restaurant. The breakfasts were delightful and well suited for our tastes. Plus for coffee/tea making facilties in the room. We would definitely stay at this B&B again the next time we are in the vicinity.

Thank you for this nice review, I just discovered (sorry for late response); we are very pleased if you enjoyed your stay at home ; we always try our best to share this fabulous location in the midle of Chateaux de la Loire, and ours in the center of our calm and peaceful medieval town. See you one day...Philippe
