We spent the day driving from Glacier NP to Buffalo, so a nice room was appreciated. Buffalo is a nice town, so explore the downtown. We stayed in Ella's room, which is next to the street and had one window open, so be aware of this if you are sensitive to traffic noise.
The Historic Mansion House is a very nice bed & breakfast , well situated in the center of the city . But itvs very noisy because you are on main street and the windows let all the noise enter in the room and the air conditionned is also noisy. The breakfast is correct
Most enjoyable, two blocks to the center of town where there are several really nice, independent shops and museums. Rooms are very clean and decorated with western antiques. Breakfast, while not huge is truly home made quality! All in all a wonderful experience!
My wife and I stayed here during our recent trip to Yellowstone. Buffalo is a great western town with character and sites reminding us of true western lifestyle. The Mansion House Inn fit right in with great character and charm. The room was great, beds comfortable, and conditions were in keeping with the best kept hotels. The air conditioning struggled to keep up with the 90 degree weather but comfortable none the less. The food was delicious but simple. Presentation was second to none. The host and hostess were extremely accommodating. Would love to stay there again.
I travel for my job, and was home in Casper for Christmas with my children. The day after I had an opportunity to meet a friend from Sheridan. I wanted someplace special, and found it. Our stay was an unforgettable experience. The home is incredible, and the staff was awesome. Everyone went above and beyond to accomodate. I had a connection problem with the wifi, and the manager didn't stop until we resolved it. It snowed overnight (how cool is that!) and in the morning, the lot was plowed and our cars were swept clean. Thank you for your hospitality. I highly reccomend this establishment. I love Victorian architechture, and this had it all. 12 out of 5 stars! Jim
