We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Catalina Park Inn during January 2013. We stayed in the Bower Room which is in the guest house behind the main Inn. Our room was large and (yes!) charming. The bed, pillows, and linens were top notch. There is also a lovely yard with desert landscaping and numerous fountains. We borrowed movies from the Inn's collection to watch at night which was a nice additional feature of our stay. Our hosts, Paul and Mark, were very nice and shared lots of useful information about the Tucson area. Mark's breakfasts were really delicious and the conversation around the table was lively. The Inn and guesthouse are from the 1920's and beautifully maintained. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Catalina Park Inn!

What a great experience visiting Tucson and staying at the Catalina Park Inn. We stayed in the cottage #1 room...awesome bed, incredibly clean, private, and super comfortable! The property grounds are so well done. We just wish we could have spent more time there! We would highly recommend and this will be our spot when we come back to Tucson. The innkeepers were very welcoming, super friendly, and made great suggestions while we were in town. Overall...A+ experience!

The Catalina Park Inn hosts, Mark and Paul, extol all the attributes of hospitality that make for an exceptionally enjoyable and memorable Tucson experience, particularly for an overseas visitor from the Antipodes. Mine hosts were exceptionally helpful during my three night stay. The breakfasts were five star, the accommodation homely and the location convenient and secure. Gratefully, P. We take a yearly trip to Tucson for a week of golf and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Great location, wonderful rooms, delicious food, and helpful inkeepers who couldn't do more to make the trip memorable. The inn is within walking distance to some fun little restaurants and great shops. Outstanding golf and hiking can be found a short drive away. We look forward to our next trip to Tucson and the Catalina Park Inn.

Catalina Park Inn is not only beautiful and tranquil, but its hosts, Paul and Mark rounded out just what the quintessential Bed and Breakfast should be. They were very knowledgeable about the art scene and activities in Tucson and the surrounding area, which is wonderful when your time is limited as ours was on this trip, and very gracious in ensuring our every need was met. The rooms were all well appointed (what a treat to stay in an historical home as well decorated and maintained as this one!) and allowed for a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was as scrumptious as its presentation. Our only disappointment was that we were not staying longer, but we'll make up for that on our next visit.
Our largest room at 450 square feet was once the family billiards room and is located beneath the living room. The room is pretty bright, the windows are up high. 8 1/2 foot ceilings and all the beautiful mahogany woodwork found throughout the house. The bath has a jetted tub. There is a comfy king bed on one end of the room and a large seating area on the other. Can accommodate a third person on the couch.
This large room is located on the second floor of the main house. The room is divided into two areas by a dramatic plaster arch. On one side stands a wrought iron queen bed. On the other side is a wonderfully large and comfy seating area with a canvas covered love seat, a pair of reading chairs and a marble-topped desk. The room is wrapped by eight windows that bathe the room in light. The hardwood floors are a gleaming red and white oak. The vintage bathroom has a stained glass transom window, a full length beveled mirror, plenty of storage space, and attractive art nouveau tiles and sconces
Located on the second floor, the East Room features a sumptuous queen size wrought iron canopy bed. You'll find two comfortable chairs for reading or watching TV and lots of good lighting. A pair of French doors leads to a private awning-covered porch where you'll enjoy a pair of cushy club chairs the perfect place to start your day with a cup of coffee or relax with a drink in the evening. In the large bathroom, Art Nouveau border tiles line the walls. There's a tiled shower and dressing table. The room comes equipped with a TV and DVD player and a AM/FM/CD player with iPod dock. Queen bed.
A palette of mossy greens and rusted browns imbue the West Room with an air of tranquility. A velvet-covered Queen Anne chair facing the four-poster queen bed provides a comfortable place to read or watch TV. There's a large vintage bathroom with a tub and shower and original art nouveau period tile work. Step out to your private awning-covered porch where you'll find a pair of cushy club chairs - a perfectly relaxing spot to watch the sun set. The room comes equipped with TV, DVD player, AM/FM/CD stereo with iPod dock, plush robes, alarm clock, iron & board and hair dryer.
A scored and polished concrete floor is stained a deep mustard yellow and waxed to a high luster. You'll find a cushy sofa where you might read or watch TV. An antique stained glass window above the bathroom door is illuminated by the afternoon sun. Also on hand is a tiled vanity/desk. In the bathroom you'll enjoy a nice large shower tiled in a Mexican limestone. The room comes equipped with a TV/DVD, and an individually controlled heating/ AC unit. The comfy King bed sits before a decorative fireplace.
This cozy room is located next to the Bower Room and adjacent to our desert garden behind the main house. A pair of large mosaic-topped cast iron garden urns stand duty as bedside tables. Warmly hued Mexican terra cotta tiles cover the floor. There's a small writing table/vanity and a checkerboard-tiled shower over a long, deep soaking tub. The Cottage Room has three windows and overlooks our desert garden. There is a trellis behind the room where you can relax in the shade. The room comes equipped with a TV, DVD player, and an individually controlled heating/AC unit.Queen bed.
