  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 clove garlic chopped
  • 1 cup quick grits
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 2 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cheddar cheese

  1. Bring water, half and half,salt, and chopped clove of garlic to a boil. Do not let the mixture boil over.
  2. Turn down the heat to very low and add the quick grits. Cover with lid. Occasionally stir to take out lumps. Low simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Right before serving, stir in Cream Cheese and other cheeses. After serving dish, make sure one soaks pan in warm water in order to wash better.
