  • 1 cup boiled, boned and skinned salt fish, minced
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup onion minced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped seasoning pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chopped hot pepper or use a little hot pepper sauce.


  1. In a electric chopper mince deboned and skinned saltfish. Add seasonings, flour, egg and water to chopper and chop until mixed but not diced too fine. (Ingredients should still be recognizable). Add onion, salt and pepper. Lastly, beat in 2 teaspoons baking powder. Drop into hot, deep fat a teaspoonful at a time. It should puff out immediately and rise to the top of the oil. When brown, remove. Drain on absorbment paper and serve hot with garlic mayonnaise sauce.
  2. Garlic Mayonnaise Sauce 12 cloves peeled garlic 1 cup mayonnaise 2 tablespoon ketchup Put peeled garlic in electric chopper. Mince well. Add mayonnaise and ketchup. Mix together. Refrigerate and use
