Ingrédients

  • one-pound loaf French Bread
  • 1 1/2 cup Cream
  • 1 1/2 cup Milk
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans

  1. Spray a 9"X11" pan with a non-stick cooking spray. Slice bread into 16 1" slices. Place bread in pan in two layers. Mix eggs, cream, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Pour mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  2. For topping: Mix softened butter, brown sugar, syrup and pecans well. Spoon over top of bread. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Serve with warm syrup. And enjoy.
